Finals week anxiety. As a senior in college, this is a feeling that I face time and time again. The stress of the exams and loads of work that need to be done can truly impact someone. Though this feeling of stress is something that millions of others face alongside myself, it seems that each of us have to face the struggle alone. Each one of us faces the end of the semester differently, as our lives, work loads and work ethics vary, however the journey to complete the semester is a relatable one.

Here are the times that One Tree Hill captures us and defines the feelings that we go through at the end of each semester.

That moment, when I realize I had a lot of work to do, but had plans to truly sit on my couch and binge watch a show on Netflix. This clearly shows the denial I face before I begin my work.

Being over 21 has its perks. Therefore, I would much rather use ways to stress about the work at the hand than truly get down to business. But, at the end of the day, I indeed just have to get to work to ensure that I am able to ace all the work at hand.

Words of encouragement are the best. Often internal helps, others its the words of the world around us that allows us to gain the necessary work done. This allows us to truly dedicate us to the work and get us through finals week.

Each time you finish the semester and know what you have just accomplished. You feel great about yourself. Thus, you motivate yourself to keep going knowing you won't get another chance to go back and finish your degree. So, like Brooke Davis, set your mind to something and do it.

After accomplishing all of your work and doing your best with everything at hand, you can return home and to your comfortable bed. You will be able to relax and enjoy all the free time you have after finishing everything you have to without the stress of knowing you have to complete the necessary work to get the grades you need.

College is a part of our lives that at the end of the day, will allow us to go far and accomplish everything we set our minds to. This will allow us to get on the career paths, learn from our peers, and hopefully get a learning to gain the success we desire. Therefore, like myself I intend to flow with the week of finals and wish everyone the successes that will come with all the hard work that will go into finishing all the necessary assignments.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
