An Ode To Chips And Queso

In my honest opinion, chips and queso are the greatest things to exist in the world. As sad as this might sound, they bring so much joy into my life. I would be lying if I said that I didn’t judge a Tex Mex or Mexican restaurant by the queso. So queso, this one is for you.

Dear chips and queso,

You may be just a cheese that's been melted, but you are so magnificent. You, paired with chips or tortillas are honestly the only thing that I could eat. From just warming up Velveeta to going to my favorite restaurant for queso, you are so great. Or maybe even chips and salsa, it’s always a good mix.

Your creamy goodness that just envelope the chips is such a refreshing taste. So much joy and happiness can be brought into someone’s day with just one bite. You’re filling -- so if someone just wants queso with chips or tortillas for lunch or dinner, that’s all they could eat. Or maybe for breakfast, I’m not one to judge. You do what you like and don’t let anyone stop you. Whoever came up with queso will forever be a genius and a legend.

So thank you to that person for creating the most amazing thing.
