Steph Curry… You love him or well… no, you love him.
He does it again. Reigning MVP is making history yet again and impressing viewers everywhere. How does he do it? Here are just a couple reasons why Steph Curry is my favorite player and maybe why he should be yours too!
1. His dedication to the game
No one can deny that Curry absolutely loves the game. Coming from a family that basically lives, and breathes basketball, the roots were established young. Attending Davidson, he had a lot to prove… But while he was there he was named Southern Conference Player of the Year twice and set the all-time scoring record for Davidson and the Southern Conference. Moving on, he was selected 17th pick in the first round of the NBA draft in 2009. Last year, people considered him one of the most underpaid players in the game, but returning this year, he is again setting records currently being at 14-0.
2. His faith
Oftentimes, you will see Curry point up after he makes a shot. At the beginning of each game he has a routine with his daughter that also ends in pointing up. He and his wife met at youth group and since then have both talked about all their faith has done for them.
3. His love for his family
No one can deny his love for his family and his endless support for Ayesha, his wife. As she pursues cooking, he has been her #1 fan. She once uploaded a video of them dancing in the kitchen as she cooked and she rapped using him in the video… It was great. Even bringing Riley, his daughter to press conferences shows exactly who he is as a person.
4. His appreciation and interaction with fans
Steph Curry has always been so involved and extremely nice to his fans. In Guillermo’s video, Curry is up for anything and very polite, whereas, for instance, Lebron James is the exact opposite… In case you needed a good comparison. Anyway, Curry is always involved and trying to show his fans just how much he appreciates them.
Okay so these are just a couple of personal reasons as to why I love Steph Curry, but there are infinitely more reasons to love and support him. If you aren’t obsessed enough with the videos of Riley “nae nae-ing,” I’m confused.
