On December 12th, 2016, Dead Week tragically passed away due to many assignments and exams assigned by professors, killing it's hope to give students a much-deserved break. The heartbreak was just too much for Dead Week to handle.
During Dead Weeks' life, it contributed days where a college student's stress could be a little more manageable. It always appeared around campus before finals week, to deliver a little more time to prepare for finals. Dead Week will be terribly missed by millions of college students, due to it's once promised week of studying without tests or assignments.
Dead Week was preceded in death by its successors, Just Another Week of School and Good Luck With Your Three Tests and Studying for Finals. As well as its distant cousins, Winter Break and Spring Break.
A service will not be held as it was Dead Week's dieing wish for students to justify it's death by doing well on finals.
Dead Week was a dear friend to all and will be extremely missed.
