Finals Week (noun): The time of year that every college student dreads.
Well it's finally here, which means that I have no time to binge watch "Grey's Anatomy" on Netflix. As we go into this week from hell you might find that "Grey's Anatomy" is more relatable to finals than you have ever realized. Here are some of the most common finals week moments, as told by my favorite show.
1. Two words: Stress Eating
The anxiety that comes from finals week makes it more than acceptable to eat pizza at 2 a.m. while you are cramming for your next exam.
2. "Get up!"
Sometimes we just need that extra push to get out of bed in the morning.3. Mental break downs
You would be lying if you can't admit to having at least one moment like this during finals week.
4. It's Christmas time!
It's an easy cheer-up to remember that Christmas is just around the corner. It's the most wonderful time of the year!
5. "What are you doing?"
There's always that one person in the library who is making too much noise while you are trying to concentrate and it takes all of your energy not to "shhh" them.
6. Study break or procrastination
Giving your brain a quick rest is always a good idea. Just don't end up on four hour adventures with your best friend, because you will regret it.
7. "My room is a mess."
Sometimes finals week forces you to live in your own filth because you have absolutely no time to clean it.
8. "Are you ready?"
Professors seem to find it necessary to ask this question for some reason. Whether or not you are actually prepared to take the test, you are definitely ready to get it over with.
9. ????
We all come across that one question on an exam that you have no idea what the answer is and you are positive that it was not on the study guide.
10. "How are you done already?"
There's a moment of anxiety when someone is done with their test and you still have 50 questions to go.
11. "I knew that I should have put C instead of B."
Everyone can admit to checking their notes/study guide once they leave an exam. There is nothing worse than realizing that you put the wrong answer once you've handed it in.
12. Exhaustion
We all hit that point where you are so overworked that you find yourself snapping at your friends/roommates.13. Say you're sorry
It's okay to be a little mean when you're exhausted, but don't forget to apologize afterwards.
14. Now we wait
Once you have taken all of your final exams, the anticipation of finding out your grades could kill you. You are constantly refreshing your computer to see if your professors have posted them yet.
