I don't know about you, but in light of recent events, my social media has been filled with nothing but negative and downright frustrating posts about politics. Don't get me wrong, a lot of them are interesting and have good points, but it boggles my mind how people can be so hateful towards one another. Another part about social media that makes me sad is the lack of cute happy things, so here is 20 of the cutest puppies with some comments and suggestions about the recent events taking place on social media:

1. This puppy is tired of all the hate.

2. These puppies are friends, no matter who they voted for.

3. This one is appalled by the amount of fighting and hate going around right now.

4. This puppy is happy, just like everyone should try to be.

5. Puppies are friends with anyone, not matter what they look like.

6. This puppy knows that everyone has messy parts in their lives but it wants everyone to embrace it.

7. This puppy is thinking of how he will make others feel before he barks.

8. Be calm, cool and collected when people don't have the same views as you, this puppy is a great example.

9. This puppy is exasperated and needs to see some positivity.

10. This puppy knows that if he has nothing nice to say, he won't say it at all.

11. This Vizsla puppy sums up my face when I see all the negativity everyone has towards each other.

12. This puppy is just plain cute.

13. Look at these puppies getting along very nicely.

14. This puppy is getting outside and enjoying the outdoors instead of sitting on social media all day.

15. This puppy is sad that no one cares about cute puppy videos anymore.

16. This Pitbull puppy doesn't conform to society.

17. This Dalmatian puppy is many colors and accepts everyone no matter the color on their skin.

18. Puppies use their big brains to look at the big picture.

19. This Golden Retriever puppy is blocking out the haters.

20. This one is just majestic as f***.

So take a couple suggestions from these puppies my friends and go love each other, unite as one, and realize that it is OKAY to have different views as others. Make your voice heard, but also make sure that voice isn't condescending and hateful towards other whether you agree with them or not. Share the love not the hate.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
