This has been a bit of a stressful start of the year. Luckily the internet is full of adorable animals that are able to make the world a better place. Don't believe me? Then you'll just have to keep scrolling down to see for yourself.

1. First Kiss

It's the little things that count like making up after hiding his food dish near the litter box.

2. Purr-fect Posture

Because animals have better posture and photo taking skills than you. Let that sink in.

3. Season Lover

Pumpkin spice lover-meet your animal spirit. Nothing is better than having a cute little pupper by your side that loves the same seasonal stuff!

4. The Second Apology

Sometime you have to dig deep and make the first move when trying to be friends with your new housemate.

5.Corgi Loves

Corgis are gorgeous. The Queen has corgis therefore they are royal and so are their hindquarters.

6. Photogenic With Flowers

Lover of flower crowns prepare to cry your eyes out- these cuties successfully put a tasteful spin on a 'chella worthy photo theme.

7. Attack of the Angry Kitten

Siblings are the worst and the best thing ever. It's a fair fight until someone has a growth spurt.

8. Newspapers and Babies

It's never too early to be curious and try to educate yourself in world politics. It really does take some work flipping pages with paws though.

9. Lil' Blue Eyes

It's awkward but animals and especially baby animals sometimes are more gorgeous than you IRL and because you're confident you except that fact with grace.

10.The Tall and Short Friend

This photo is a true portrait to what it looks like when I go out with any of my friends taller than five feet. It's an entire life style I'm missing out on because I can only see to their shoulders. No worries, there are benefits to these gloriously balanced friendships.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
