Today in life, there is this constant limit people put upon themselves. They say it's because this or that, when really it's their own limitation. No one started out living easy, from the beginning of this world people had it hard, but they overcame the obstacles because they seemed to become better, more evolved. Nothing is stopping you from becoming better, only yourself. So stop living with the thoughts that "I can't" or "no because these." You are your own person, so make your own decisions.
If you don't believe me, here are a couple people who beat the odds.
- Leighton Meeser (AKA Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl)
Little did you know she actually grew up with a drug addict mom who was either in a halfway house or jail for most of her life, she lived with her grandparents in Texas...yea I didn't think you had it that bad either. Oh, and did I forget to mention she is basically worth 5 million dollars now? Okay.
-Good'Ole Jim Carey (you know who he is)
He dropped out of high school to help pay for his family needs, next thing you know they live in a van, and now he is worth 20 million a film... He beat the odds, he went from being a hardly known stand-up comedian to a Hollywood Actor.
-Leo DiCaprio (mr. hottie basically)
He had a rough start, his mom was working one of her numerous jobs all the time, but hewas able to push through and graduated high school. Now he is one of the most amazing actors, he is estimated a 200 million net worth. He also is a representative for the United Nations to promote awareness and change for the climate crises.
-Oprah Winfrey (O U KNOW)
Growing up with countless struggles; raised by a single mom, rapped at 9 years old, pregnant at 14, losing her son in his infancy. Even through all of that, she succeeded to become one of the most successful women, worth 2.9 billion to be exact.
I've given you multiple examples of how you can influence to beat the odds. They may be "extreme" cases, but what makes that impossible? No matter your gender, race, or whatever identity you want to classify yourself as, you are capable of ALWAYS beating the odds. You are capable of being the most successful, you are capable of changing your world.
So why stop yourself? Why limit yourself? Do what makes you happy, succeed in what you learn, and hold yourself to the highest standard, because you are capable. No one is stopping you but yourself. So quit the bad habits, leave the negativity. Be the light at the end of the tunnel, not for anyone else but yourself.
