As most girls know, Nicholas Sparks is known for romantic novels. Most of these novels have made it into popular movies. Each story is a love story, and admit it, we all were IN LOVE with them when we first saw/read all them. Let's be real, though, our 12-year-old minds were swayed by Nicholas Sparks. We were given extremely high expectations when:

1. Noah built the house for Allie, even though they weren't together.

He told Allie he wanted to fix the house up for them, and he did.

2. Noah waited for Allie, hoping she would come back to him.

It had been years since they had talked or even seen each other, but he waited for the day she would come back.

3. And he read to Allie and he loved her, even though she had no idea who he was.

She had dementia and didn't remember anything, but he spent everyday reading to her and loving her, in hopes that she could one day remember the love she had for him.

4. Logan WALKED from Colorado to Louisiana to find the girl in the photo.

He found the photo after a man died while in Iraq. So, he walked across the country to find the girl in his photo. He also thought this girl was an angel looking down on him because he survived an attack after finding the picture.

5. He falls in love with Beth, the girl from the photo, and treats her, her son, and her grandmother as his own family.

While Beth's ex-husband, Keith, tore the family down, Logan built them back up.

6. Ronnie and Will fall in love while spending a night protecting a sea turtle nest.

Nothing like a turtle nest to introduce you to love.

7. Jamie tells Landon not to fall in love with her, and he laughs at the idea (and then does fall in love with her).

Sometimes you just have to get to know someone to see how cool they are.

8. John jumps off a pier to save the purse of Savannah, who is just a stranger to him at this time.

Little did either of them know, they were about to embark on an adventure together.

9. After he is deployed, John and Savannah keep their relationship going by writing letters to each other.

They fell in love and write each other letters for years while John is with the army.

10. Savannah breaks up with John, but they never stop loving and caring for each other.

John's father eventually dies after a stroke, and Savannah's new husband, Tim, is fighting cancer; however, they both supported the other in their hard times. Tim also admits to John that Savannah has never fallen out of love with John.

11. Luke and Sophia fall in love, mostly because of an older man they have met after a car crash.

They find the man while on their first date. They continue to visit him, check up on him, and they learn about his late wife Ruth and their love story. This is ultimately what brings them to fall in love and finally be together.

So, obviously Nicholas Sparks is known for his romances, but who can blame him? These are just the most well-known and best scenes for love, but I'm sure after I have a Nicholas Sparks movie marathon, there will be more. Thanks for the high expectations of love, Nick.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
