It's summer in New Hampshire, and we all know what that means: ICE CREAM. 10. Arctic Dreams, New London, NH

This ice cream parlor and coffee shop has been a New London staple for years. Grab a (delicious) cone before heading to catch a show at the New London Barn Playhouse, or after the annual Strawberry Festival on June 25th.

9. Jordan's Ice Creamery, Belmont, NH

22 years has made Jordan's some of the best ice cream in the Lakes Region. It's family run, and boasts flavors such as An Uncomfortable Amount of Chocolate, Salted Caramel Crunch, Coffee and Donuts, Kettle Cracked Corn, and Cookie Monster!

8. Mill Ice Cream Cafe & Fudge Factory, Bristol, NH

Newfound Lake beachgoers can't miss out on the Mill's incredible treats. Made right there, the ice cream at this place is out of this world. Make sure not to forget some fudge either. And visit Diane the Turtle (yes she's a real turtle) at Twin Designs Gift Shop, right across the square!

7. Sawyer's Dairy Bar, Gilford, NH

With flavors that change weekly, Sawyer's has been a Lakes Region tradition since 1945. A great place to stop and grab a bite to eat and a cone! Make sure you get a picture with Scoops!

6. Kellerhaus, Laconia, NH

Since 1906, Kellerhaus has been serving up incredible sweets. That's 110 years! While ice cream sundaes are certainly one of the features of this Weirs Beach icon, the candy room is the real MVP of the place. Every corner is packed with mouthwatering delicacies. It's a Willy Wonka dream come true. Pick up a souvenir in the gift shop, and don't miss the weekend waffle breakfast either! There might not be any IHOPs nearby, but Belgian Waffles are about 18 times better anyway.

5. Flurries, Meredith, NH

Flurries has some of the best burgers in the state, hands down. Homemade ice cream is just the cherry on top of this incredible restaurant. It's the perfect place to stop before catching a show at Interlakes Summer Theatre (the season this year includes the The Producers and My Fair Lady.) Grab dinner and a frappe and make sure to enjoy the lakeside views!

4. Sandwich Creamery, Sandwich, NH

It's a bit of a hike to get there, but boy is it worth is. The Sandwich Creamery is a peaceful place, perfect for sharing a pint of ice cream and watching the cows graze. Favorite flavors include Birch Bark (no trees included), Cranberry, Rum Raisin, and Lemon Squeeze. Brave the wilderness...the adventure is totally trek-worthy.

3. Town Docks, Meredith, NH

Anyone who lives near Meredith knows that the Town Docks is the place to eat in the summer. Lakeside seating gives guests unbeatable views of Meredith Bay. Grab a scoop of Common Man made ice cream and enjoy the atmosphere...if you hit it right you might even hear some rockin' live music.

2. MnM Scoops, Plymouth, NH

Plymouth State University students have a secret that needs to be shared with the world: MnM Scoops is the best. An old fashioned ice cream counter, friendly staff, and amazing ice cream make this parlor a must-visit. Dedicated repeat visitors may even be lucky enough to earn their "licker license." Even in the winter, 'Scoops is the perfect place to grab a bowl of soup and enjoy a freshly made waffle cone. The chill is totally bearable when you're enjoying the beauty of the White Mountains.

Liliuokalani's may have a tough name to spell and pronounce, but its atmosphere and food are easy to wrap your head around. Visitors arrive by car and boat to treat themselves too Lili's. If you're in Weirs Beach, don't miss out on Liliuokalani's!
