Every December, it is common to hear someone say the phrase "New year, New Me", realistically by January 18th from that friend who cut out smoking weed and drinking to focus on working out and cleansing their body, mind, and soul. When the group invites you to meet out at the club, you promise yourself to have one drink that actually turns into 5 body shots off an extremely gorgeous college girl. The club ends at 2 a.m., and the after party is at the Hilton waterfront with many new friends and enough alcohol to sterilize a mansion and some other extras. Before you know it, it is Sunday morning 9 a.m. with no sleep and alcohol for breakfast. You miss your 10 a.m.gym session. You promise yourself you will go tomorrow and make up for the missed day. Then, by the time the drunkness wears off, the devil comes in with a massive hangover. Before you know it, back to the clubs and partying Thursday- Sunday.
Even if some don't stick to the weight-loss goals, money saving and no drama or stressful situations, you are guaranteed and promised that this next, new year will not be the same. The people, experiences and lessons to come in this next new year will be different, and hopefully, whatever comes to you will help you grow into a better, experienced person.
