“Nature abhors a vacuum”, said Aristotle. So I want to tell you this: each time the sentiment of deprivation dominates over the one of possession, the path of one’s life is more likely to follow the dominant one. Therefore, a soul that is fed by the feeling of being poor, anger, hatred, persecuted or incapable of achievement will more likely succumb to these flaws. It goes the same way to another soul which worships heroism, pride, the sentiment of being loved, honored or capable of everything; it is more likely to end up triumphant by conquering the odds of inheritance.

Stop believing you were born to be poor. Poorness, as far as we all know, is a state of mind instead of a concrete denomination. Nobody is poor unless one loses the ability to learn and to thrive. I am going further to let you know that there is no poverty where happiness lies. I have got a true example from my experiences with people living in some under-developed areas of the world. Most of these people lack the minimum amount of wealth and goods they should own to meet standard living of a poor citizen in the developed world. But once they put in mind that they are wealthy as they are, their degree of happiness increases, hope reigns on their paths, they thrive harder than they should, and they end up living with a happiness in their heart that will make you want to be by their sides all day long. The trick is simple to comprehend; poorness has few in common with having no money or wealth to survive, but it owns one’s mind the time one loses hope, the time one start believing life favors some groups of people to the expenses of another group, the time one decides to let stereotypical judgements and doubts hack one’s inmost spirit to thrive for greatness, the time one starts living to please society instead of caring for what really matters, and the time one starts worshipping their state or poorness.

One must not surrender to what has been said and carried out upon us if they can have negative impacts on one’s future. We have the ability to innovate the past through creativity, entrepreneurship, and togetherness with those who are better placed to enlighten the world. Say no to negativity.

One must be ready to give up on a love relationship if it announces a stormy path for one’s future. One must be ready to divorce a marriage in which there is parasitism, suspicious or involuntary consent from one partner. One must give up on a college career that is not promising or not worth the four years of pain endured in the classroom, from the sleepless nights, from crying over a difficult homework assignment, from skipping meals to get things done. We always hear the word “think positively”, but few folks really get what it takes to think positively. My tip to you is never let the pains or bad memories of yesterday carry over the present to hack one’s future adventures. The human brain is capable of accommodation. So, leave these thoughts of “being born to be this or that” behind to build a road where there never had one before. Destiny must not be shaped by past inheritance, but what is left after thriving for greatness. You have power on your destiny, so, start redefining it now: believe, thrive, trust in Him, and be the better you!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
