You know how no matter where you are in a store, you can always hear your mom’s voice?

Like you could spot her voice anywhere in a crowd because you’ve heard it for so long, and it’s a comforting sound?

That’s how his voice is.

I can hear his laugh when he’s with a group of people across the softball field.

He’s a comforting voice that feels like home, and that sounds crazy to people that don’t have that. Like you hear the expression ‘He feels like home’ and you’re like ‘what does that even mean?’ until you have it.

Come back to this article once you get someone, you’ll understand what I’m talking about. It’s the best feeling, truly.

It’s crazy to think how in love you can really be.

I spent less than 24 hours away from him, and when I got to see him I couldn’t stop smiling. He’s playing softball and even if he was the worst player(which he’s not because what is he not good at? I could not be more proud.

He is a gleaming light in everything.

And maybe I’m hyping him up too much, but you would understand if you got to love someone like him.

We get in fights often, but I’ve never fought with a guy like this before. I give up some fights to let him win just so he’ll be happy. I decided to fight because he’s worth fighting for. We can work through these little brawls to get stronger.

I never thought anyone was worth it more than him.

I thought that the other guy was the one, but now that I know him I know that it couldn’t even compare.

I get tired of things easily.

I got tired of the drill team, so I quit.
I got tired of my first high school so I switched.

I got tired of college, so I quit.

I got tired of my exes, so I broke up with them.

This is my longest relationship, and for half a year I haven’t gotten tired of him.

I don’t think I ever will.

I never get tired of seeing his smiling little face always looking at me.

I’ve never been able to be myself as much I can with him.

I’ve never been so happy.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
