There comes a time in everyone's life where you go through a hard time or a tough situation and at the end of it all you feel absolutely defeated, broken. At a young age, every little girl dreams of finding her prince charming, the one that takes her away from all of her problems or at least someone to be there through them all to tell her everything is going to be okay. But what happens when that prince charming you've dreamt so long for comes along and actually becomes the problem? You become absolutely devastated. This man is charming, handsome, funny, someone your family completely adores, someone whose family you adore, and everything you could ever wish for and you just ask God why? Why must You let someone so wonderful come into my life just for You to take them out. As Peyton from One Tree Hill would say, "People always leave." You begin to wonder, well what did I do wrong? How could I have been better? What makes her so special? DO NOT DO THIS! I repeat, ABORT MISSION! You are perfect just the way you are and you are the person God intended for you to be! It does not do you any good to beat yourself to pieces comparing yourself to the next girl he's with even though I'm sure she's really great. I believe that some people can be meant for each other but timing is unfortunately not always on our side. Instead of doubting yourself or him, if you really love him, pray for him. Pray that all of his dreams come true, pray for his happiness, and most importantly, pray for him to find someone that completes him even if it isn't you. Tell me about hard?! Trust me, I know. This helps you grow as an individual and helps you become a better, stronger person. After all, being bitter is not attractive. So when you are feeling as if you are broken into a million pieces remember, you are not broken, just wounded. Broken means damaged without being able to repair as it was once before and losing all hope. Wounds always ALWAYS heal. Some may take longer than others but they always do. You deserve to be extraordinarily, and immensely happy. Never lose sight of your faith, hope, or who you are when hard times come along because how you handle those hard times determine who you are as a person.
