Since we've been back at school you have probably realized that Netflix is one of your best friends. The struggle with Netflix is not knowing which show to watch, so instead of having a solid amount of time to binge watch you waste time pondering over to watch and arguing with your friends over what movie to play next. Here is a recommendation of the perfect movie or show for every mood you are feeling at the moment.
Girls' night in:
Breakfast at Tiffany's
Romantic classic, Audrey Hepburn and references that are almost in every show or movie. Perfect for a girls night in and inspiring halloween costumes.
Mean Girls
Our favorite movie since '04. Even though we know every line, this one is a must.
Pretty Little Liars
If you like slightly creepy, moderately funny TV, this is the perfect show to watch with your girlfriends. They have so many drinking games to play with this show to make it even more interesting and you have to read the weekly episode recaps on betcheslovethis.com.
Nights in with the boyfriend:
Breaking Bad
Your boyfriend has probably already seen it and is dying to watch it over again. Non-stop action and a great storyline (also a lovable romance that girls would melt over.)
Silver Linings Playbook
Great love story and great storyline. The main characters are played by Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence - smokeshows. JLaw even won an Oscar for her performance in this movie.
How I Met Your Mother
The romantic comedy series you won't stop laughing and you will fall in love with each character. It's the perfect television show to start together.
Binge-watching alone for girls:
Gossip Girl
The best sassy show to watch in the history of Netflix. Rich kids on the Upper East side with any teenage problem you can imagine, and oh yeah, Chuck Bass.
One Tree Hill
Nine seasons of emotional roller coasters, inspirational quotes and amazing music. The show is basically split into three parts; high-school, after college and the post seasons without the two main characters.
The Vampire Diaries
Personally my favorite Netflix show, with the most beautiful cast members and a very interesting story line. The show currently is still airing but they have up to season five on Netflix. The first three episodes are very slow and the acting is not that great but after that it becomes the most amazing thrilling show with great cast member chemistry.
Binge-watching alone for boys:
Blue Mountain State
Football and naked girls in almost every episode - it's clear why guys would like this show. It is also really funny and Denise Richards is in it.
Heroes
This is an action packed, science fiction and borderline creepy show that follows a group of people who have a special mutation.
The Interview
Perfect movie to watch with a group of your closest guy friends. It's funny and has everyone's favorites, Seth Rogen and James Franco, as the main characters. Also, the Agent Lacy is Janis from Mean Girls (total transformation).
