Ads of the World

Half-dressed men are a great way to target females buyers. According to the roles of gender, women are the meal makers, making them subjective to this product. Women are attracted to the expectations of men as dictated by society. By buying this product women might think that they can attract a man like the gentleman in the ad. Women may also feel that they will benefit from the dressing regarding health. In this ad, the male has an attractive physique, nice hair and a seductive gaze. The ad states “The Only Thing Better Than Dressing is Undressing." The slogan is capitalized as an eye catcher to intensify sexual attraction to suggest sexual intentions that can possibly grab the attention of the female buyers and to state how great dressing is but, letting the women know that undressed men are even better. Therefore partial male nudity is the go-to for food marketing.

Women are usually the grocery shoppers of their families. Meaning women would be engaged in the product, especially with the marketing idea of using a male model. Since women are expected to be attracted to the opposite sex, the masculinity was a great way to get their attention.

There are features that can direct attention to the sexual attraction in this ad. For example his hair is luxuriant and neat, which can indicate that he is classy and well-groomed. He has a beard, suggesting that he’s mature. The maturity may appeal to the mature crowd of women. The way he is positioned on the counter demonstrates his dominance, in accordance with his facial expression. He has a sharp structured jaw-line. His eyebrow is raised also demonstrates his dominance and attractive signals. His body positioning also suggests that he’s romantic. His arm is supporting his weight, with his body positioned toward the viewer suggesting that he is laid-back and possibly waiting for someone.

The romance of this ad can attract women of all age groups. The romance might give women the idea that buying the product can freshen up or add spice to their relationships .Women are galvanized by the thought of perfect romance. Romance can also suggest that he prepared the salad, and is waiting for his significant other. The mood of this ad suggests romance. In the background of the ad, candles are lit indicating a candlelit dinner. The candlelight dinner appears to be for more than one person.

Again, women would be attracted to the fact that this gesture, according to societal norms, depict a perfect scenario of romance. Another example that implies sexuality in this ad is the positioning of the bottle. The position of the bottle can be seen from two different mindsets. At a certain angle the dressing looks as if it is being poured on the salad, but at another angle the dressing looks as if it is being poured on his abdomen. All of these features described can be reasons why women would be attracted to the ad.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
