My Favorite Places To Eat At Disneyland

DLR = Disneyland

DCA = Disney's California Adventure

TS = Table Service/Sit down restuarant

QS = Quick Service/Fast food

$ = Cheap

$$ = Decently priced

$$$ = Pretty expensive


1. Plaza Inn restaurant $$ TS - Character Dining (Breakfast only)

Location: DLR Plaza Inn/right before Tomorrowland

Reservation needed

Accepts walk ins

Recommendation: not needed because it's a breakfast buffet AMAZING CHARACTER INTERACTIONS

[ Random characters, but I've seen Max, Captain Hook, Rafiki, Chip n Dale, Minnie, Pooh Bear, Tigger, Eeyore before]



2. Carnation cafe $$ TS

Location: DLR Mainstreet

Good sit down restaurant currently where Oscar [ the longest living cast member to work for Disney, just had a 60 years ceremony]

Recommend: Obviously the Mickey waffles breakfast

3. Ariel grottos $$$ TS - Character Dining Location: DCA Paradise Pier/Next to Cove Bar

Recommendation: Lunch time

They have set prices for the food but you can customize your food.

Alcohol available


4. Mint Julep bar $ QS

No reservation needed

Location: DLR New Orleans/near Haunted Mansion

Recommendation: Mickey Beignets and Mint Julep drink


5. Golden horseshoe $ QS

No reservation needed

Location: DLR Frontierland

Recommendation: Funnel cake and the Ice Cream Nachos [ share with friends ]


6. Crazy cone motel $ QS

No reservation needed

Location: DCA Carsland

Recommendation: Mac n Cheese Bacon cone

7. Cove Bar $ QS

Location: DCA paradise pier/Next to Ariel's Grotto

Don't need to be 21+ to enter and eat there, only if you want to buy alcohol

Recommendation: Lobster nachos and Mickey fun wheel alcohol drink [ 21+ ]


8. Jolly Holiday Bakery Café $ QS

Location: DLR Mainstreet

Recommendation: Lunch time-Jolly Holiday Combo/Toasted grilled cheese sandwich with tomato basil soup

9. Flo's V8 Café $ QS


No reservation needed


Location: DCA Carsland


Recommendation: Turkey Dip Sandwich and Chocolate Milk Shake


10. Harbour Galley $ QS


No reservation needed


Location: DLR Critter Country


Recommendation: Clam Chowder in sourdough bread bowl


11. Café Orleans $$ TS


Location: DLR New Orleans


Need reservation but walk ins are possible


Recommendation: Monte Cristo Sandwich **They are huge portions 1 sandwich can easily fill up 2 people**
