10 Reasons Why I Wish I Was Visiting Disney World This Holiday Season

I have been visiting Disney World since I was a baby and to this day, it is still my favorite place in the whole entire world. It only gets more magical every single time I go and I have made some of my favorite memories with my family there. Even though I have been there over 20 times in my life, I have never had the chance to experience Christmas Day there. Luckily, Disney begins decorating for Christmas within the first few days of November so I have been there when it has been totally decked out and let me tell you NOTHING IS BETTER THAN DISNEY AT CHRISTMAS TIME. IT EXCEEDS ALL OF THE GOALS THAT YOU POSSIBLY COULD EVER ASK FOR! Here are 10 reasons why I wish I was going to Disney this holiday season:

1.The parks are open for the longest amount of time during this time of the year

For those Disney freaks out there (like myself), you know that they offer this special thing for all visitors who are staying on Disney property called “Extra Magic Hours.” During this time, the park already has extended hours for the general public, but if you are staying on Disney property, you can be let into the parks as early as 7 a.m. and get to stay as late as 3 a.m. on select nights. And Cinderella’s castle only gets more beautiful with the less amount of sleep you have ….

2. Queen Elsa strikes the castle and freezes it!

And it may or may not be the coolest thing in the world, just sayin’…

3. It also may or may not snow in the middle of Central Florida, no coat needed!

While watching the amazing parade or fireworks show in Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios snow will literally fall on top of you and it is one of the most magical things in the whole world (along with everything else in Disney World).

4.The Life Size Gingerbread House inside the Grand Floridian

The second you walk into one of the most beautiful deluxe resorts in the history of the Walt Disney Company and get a whiff of the most amazing Gingerbread smell, you wont want to leave. Just wait until you see the beauty that is the Grand Floridian Gingerbread House!

5.The 20th Anniversary of the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights

Unfortunately, this is the 20th and last year of the Osborne Light special and I’m very sad to see it go. This great light display is definitely a huge reason why I wish I could be visiting WDW this holiday season.

6.Main Street USA is 1000x more magical

Main Street USA: where every girl wishes they could get proposed to. Just look at it when it is fully decked out for Christmas!

7. Holiday Wishes

Wishes is the nighttime fireworks display at the Magic Kingdom and unfortunately I’ve never had the chance to witness Holiday Wishes in person. From what I’ve heard, it is better than actual Wishes, which is hard to beat in my book!

8. One Word: Dessert

That is all I have to say.

9.Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party

You can pay a special price to be admitted into the party of the year ... not even kidding. You get special desserts and hot chocolate handed to you left and right and for one of the only times throughout the year, the princes of all of our favorite princesses join them for special meet and greets. The parade is also a lot of fun too.

10. It’s the most magical place in the world all year long and is SO much more beautiful during Christmas time.

Although it is incredibly crowded, there is really nothing in the world more magical than Disney World at this time of the year.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
