I'm sure having a biological sister is great. A special, connected bond that you have with no one else but her. I am fortunate enough to have that with my biological brother, but on the flip side I will never know what that's like with a sister. So if you're in the same boat as I am, when God gives you that "sister" in your life don't ever let her go. She's your go-to and there are countless reasons why she's the one you don't necessarily always want in your life at certain times, but the one you need in your life all of the time.
In her you will always find a best friend. Disagreements will happen, but nothing will ever separate your bond. If anything, disagreements are often great for looking back on later and laughing at how stupid it was.
Whether you had a bad day or just need some girl time, she's your gal. Your "sister" is the one to be there for the gossip sessions and late night junk food. Let's face it, there is no one else you would rather tell your life story to than her. The best part about it all is that she will never tell a soul what you said and vice versa. She's your walking diary, your own personal vault of information to never be leaked.
Her closet becomes your closet. Shirts, scarves, dresses, you name it. Most of the time you'll be allowed to borrow her things just as she is allowed to borrow yours. This makes shopping a thousand times easier. You get the items for free, but with a return policy.
Dance sessions are a must. Are you really "sisters" if you can't bust a move together? Plus, they're a great way to make you both laugh and forget about everything for a while. Also, with dance sessions comes renditions of some of the best songs around. You and her are a dynamic duo that kills it every time you sing together. Even if you're both a little off key.
She's never there to judge, only there to listen. She's there to help you through some of the toughest times and is someone who will be there for the rest of your life. She's the Monica to your Rachel and can never be replaced.
So when you get that "sister" in your life, hold on tight and never let her go.
