My Boyfriend Is My Best Friend

My boyfriend is my best friend and its totally amazing!

Actually, our relationship started out as just friends then best friends, and now he's both my boyfriend and best friend. We've been together for 10 months, and within those 10 months we have fought, cried, and laughed together. (Like most best friends do.) Through the 10 months we've been together, it's become clear to me why he's my best friend.

He is my best friend because he listens to me and all my crazy thoughts and drama. I know that no matter what time it is or what's going on I can call him and talk to him without any complaints. Whenever I am in a tough situation and don't know how to handle it he is always there to give me advice. He even tells me when I'm in the wrong.

He is my best friend because he stays in with me on the weekends. He is always okay with staying home, watching YouTube videos and having movie marathons. I was never a party girl and I probably never will be, so to find a guy who doesn't want to party and drink his weekends away is a blessing to me. Occasionally, he will even do face and hair mask with me. Not many guys are willing to do all of this!

He is my best friend because he supports me and pushes me to the best of my abilities. Whether it's schoolwork or extracurricular activities, he's always there. When I'm up late studying, he calls me and sits on the phone with me for hours. If I'm frustrated, he calms me down and makes me try until I finally get it. He never lets me get myself down and he never gives up on me.

I have had many friends throughout my life, but none them compare to my boyfriend. None of my friends have ever done the things for me like my boyfriend has. There are people who try to knock us down, but he never let's them get to our relationship. He may be my boyfriend. but really he's so much more than that. He's my best friend.
