Majoring in Musical Theatre is a unique experience. And on top of that, the people you meet are unique as well. It's difficult to describe the experience in words, so I've turned to SpongeBob for help.
1. Belting face where ever whenever
We sing everywhere we go. Because sometimes, you just need to sing.
2. When anyone asks what your plans are after graduation
You're just trying to live in the moment.
3. Dance placement
At first, you're killing it.
But after awhile...
You start to feel the burn
Even so, nothing can kill the mood.
4. Finding out you've been cast in the next production
Nothing beats the feeling of knowing you made the show.
5. If your director gives you nothing but positive comments in rehearsal
Because you rock.
6. If your director says you're overdoing it
7. Tech week/midterms
You may be a bit disorganized
And the stress might get to you
But your friends are right there with you
8. When you find out you have the night off from rehearsals
And when that night off happens to be Friday
9. When you arrive home late from rehearsal, and your roommate has Visitors
You just want to sleep.
10. The Dressing Room
11. Eating Habits During Tech Week
Sometimes, there's little time to get a good meal during tech week
But be wary of bringing chocolate to rehearsal. Everyone will want some.
12. When You're Finally About To Go Onstage
Nerves and excitement.
13. Being With Your Fellow MT Majors
You guys are always ridiculous together
You laugh together
You cry together
You even help each other through hard times
But the best part of all is sharing your passion.
