Being involved in theatre has taught me some of the most important life lessons. It continues to teach me new things every single day. I have been given such amazing opportunities and have met some of the most incredible people--all because of theatre. It's not meant to be easy. If it was easy, the final show at the end wouldn't be as special. This is our life, our career, our passion, and we enjoy every second of it.

1. "I cant... I have rehearsal."

2. You find yourself eating everything.

3. Or you find yourself barely eating at all... There is no in-between.

4. Party? Nah. I think I'll stay in, watch Netflix and eat my feelings.

5. Song lyrics become a daily routine.

6. You can never have too much caffeine.

7. You met your very best friends in theatre.

8. Sleep... What is this "sleep" you speak of?

9. You don't know how to whisper.

10. The show you're currently in becomes your entire life.

11. ... And when it ends, you have serious PSD (Post Show Depression)

12. When you see other productions, you can't help but to dissect everything. (Good and bad)

13. Hearing "good luck" in everyday life makes you stop in your tracks.

14. Whether you admit it or not, we are all emotional humans. We have to be. That is the beauty of theatre.

15. Despite the exhaustion and long hours, you cant wait to start the next production and do it all over again.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
