With the trade deadline just a mouth away there has been speculation on who's going to get moved. There have already been trades this season but come August 1st, teams that are contenders will be looking for that one missing peace to get them into October. I’m going to put my GM hat on and make some possible trades.
Yankees receive
Javier Baez
Albert Almora Jr.
Cubs receive
Andrew Miller
With the Yankees having the three-headed monster bullpen with Miller, Betances, and Chapman, it might be time to move one of three. In return for trading Miller, the Yankees would get two young players that can make and impact for them. The Yankees are trying to get younger and these two players can help them with depth. The Cubs need that one more bullpen peace and Miller is just the guy.
Rangers receive
Jake Odorizzi
Rays receive
Jurickson Profar
This trade make sense for the Rangers because there starting pitching staff has hit the injury bug. With Darvish and Holland out for the Rangers they need another starter to keep them afloat until they come back. The Rays would get a young infielder that can develop into a great player.
Red Sox receive
Julio Teheran
Ian Krol
Braves receives
Clay Buchholz
Brock Holt
Ryan LaMarre
The Red Sox need starting pitching and getting Teheran would be the best move. The Braves have been out of the playoff race sense the start of the season and with a new stadium on the way, they need to start looking forward to 2017. Clay Buchholz has not played well this season and takes up too much cap space.
Indians receive
Ryan Braun
Brewers receive
Giovanny Urshela
Jose Ramirez
With Michael Brantley still on the DL for the Indians, they need a bat in their lineup to get them over the hump and win the AL Central. The Brewers need to start clearing house so getting ride of Braun would just be the start.
Baltimore receives
Sonny Gray
Oakland receives
Christian Walker
With Baltimore currently leading the AL East the Orioles need one more starting pitcher to get over the hump. Gray has been one of the top pitchers in baseball the past five years and Baltimore can get him for a cheap price. Oakland with get a solid infielder that supplies depth for the athletics.
