Now, it's time to relax.

Now, that the stressful week of Midterms are over, and we have just completed week 7 of the semester, who isn't ready for spring break? Although, there is a love/hate relationship with spring break, in my opinion. Spring break is supposed to be a time to relax and to rejuvenate from the anxiety of the semester. Although, many professors love to load up students with endless homework, in which doesn't give students really a "break" from the semester.

Here are some fun ideas for you to do this spring break:

1. Take a spontaneous trip!

2. Go explore nature!

3. Be a Foodie, try out new restaurants and cafes.

4. Lay in bed and watch Netflix.. start a new show, you will probably be able to finish it before you have to go back to school!

5. Spend time with your family, they miss you too, it is important to spend quality time with them since you do not get to see them at school.

6. Go shopping! Treat yourself, you deserve it after the crazy and busy semester you have been having, go buy that new shirt you've been dreaming about or those new pairs of shoes.

7. Home friends are like no other. Spend time with your home friends, hear about their college "stories" and what new has been going on with them. Don't lose touch with them.

8. Read a new book, with school it is hard to read something that you enjoy, so this is the time to do it.

9. Be Active. Go on a run, gym, yoga, or something healthy for your body. Get your body moving. At school, it can be hard to make time for working out within your daily schedule. Get your body moving, you will feel better after.

10. Do things that make you happy. Do things that you normally do not have time for in your daily routine.

So whether you have no homework this break, or have endless amount of work to do. Take this break, to find some time for yourself. Take this time to spend quality time with your family, go on new adventures with your friends or try something new. Even if you are not going on vacation to a warm tropical place, it is still nice to lay at home and just read a book or watch a new Netflix series. Do things that you do not really have the time for at school that you personally enjoy. Take this time to catch up with your home friends that have also come home for break. You don't get to see them much during the dreadful semesters, so spend quality time with them. As well as your family. Don't push your family away, they always get so excited when you come home and miss you. So make sure you are making time for them too. Because if you don't the constant stress and anxiety that you have during the school weeks, will only catch up to you. And just think after this break, you only have 7 more weeks left, and then you are done for the semester and it is summer!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
