This election has had so much uncertainty from the political parties to the actual candidates. Scandals, illegal activity and other suspicious actions have seemed to make voters wary to even pick from the two main nominees. Voters are clinging to hope, thinking that something miraculous will happen and hope the the election will become clean again. Some are even considering third party nominees even though they really have no chance at this point. But among this mess, one women is still shining through as she spends her last few months in the white house.

Michelle Obama is known for being a fitness guru, charismatic leader and just a general boss. From her campaigns such as "Let Girls Learn" to her "Car Karaoke" video with James Cordon, Michelle Obama is the queen of the United States. She has done an outstanding job as first lady and will definitely continue on to work on her projects outside of the white house. However, even though Michelle is known as the first lady, her work, experience and educations goes way beyond most wives of presidents. As generations have changed and women are starting to make gains in the academic field, Michelle is a tried and true example of why women are not only able to work in an authoritative position, but also that they are more than just a figure head.

Often, first ladies aren't seen as important as other members of the white house. They are suppose to be more of the gentler and submissive side of the white house. Basically, they are the traditional and stereotypical housewife that takes care of the country. As we have seen in the past, other first ladies did have some power in politics (especially Hillary Clinton), but Michelle is laying a new path for the spouse of the white house. Not, only is the term first lady a little bit too traditional as there may not only be first ladies anymore, Michelle has broke out of the mold of just being a submissive figure head. She is showing the United States that a women is more than just a complement of their husbands.

Another thing people do not seem to realize is that Michelle Obama has exemplary education. She graduated from Harvard Law School and then became a lawyer. This not only a huge feat, but also a huge leap for black women. Michelle shows not only girls, but young black girls that their skin color does not determine their future. She is an inspiration for anyone who wants to break stereotypes.

All in all, Michelle Obama should just be the president of the United States. She is more than qualified and has showed that she is basically the heart of America. She keeps it running and gives us a sense of security. Her life is not riddled with scandals or hateful events. Instead she preaches equality, generosity, and acceptance. I hope that by some miracle Michelle will save us and just take over presidency so that America can keep her in the White House.
