Medicines are one of the best inventions of science that has decreased the death rate around the world. Without medicines, the world would have been an empty place just like the forest is without its trees.

However, there are many side effects that come along with the benefits of the medicines. This is especially true when it comes to the mixture of different elements in a single medicine.

In order to preserve the quality of the medicines, many pharmacists have come up with an alternate type of medicines. These medicines are naturally made from the plants such as cannabis and marijuana and do not only specialize in making cbd capsules, but massage oils and skin products as well.

But, there are some hard and fast rules that should be followed while taking medicines and one of them is to not take medicines that can harm our bodies when taken together. Let us know about some of those combinations:

  • Ø Antihistamines and motion sickness medications should not be taken together as both of them have similar functions. Both of them are used in treating red eyes, sneezing and sniffles and taking both types of medications can cause people to oversleep. This causes the body to become weak and lethargic.
  • Ø Anti-diarrheal and calcium medications are dangerous medications that are opposite to each other. While calcium can firm your stool, anti-diarrheal will cause it to stop from coming out from your system. This leads to your colon becoming hard and impacted with infection and can rupture your bowel anytime.
  • Ø Herbal medicines such as St. John’s wort and cough medicines are not meant together for our body. Taking both of them causes serotonin syndrome in our neurotransmitters. It causes sweating, confusion, discomfort, movement problems and may even cause death as a result.
  • Ø Ibuprofen, naproxen and aspirin tablets should not be taken together as all of them are used for treating any inflammation problems. Taking all of them together can cause nausea from mild to chronic which eventually leads to gastrointestinal bleeding. These symptoms can eventually lead you to death due to excessive bleeding.
  • Ø Tylenol and cold medicines should not be mixed together and taken as both of them are used for treating common cold or flu symptoms. Having both of them together can damage the functioning of the kidneys that needs immediate implantation or else they will kill you. Other symptoms may include the increased rate of flu or severe headaches.

These are the common five types of medicinal combinations that will lead you to severe health issues like death. So, consult an expert before you take the medicines of the same kind.

In conclusion, it is true that medicines help save our lives, but they can be a major cause of our death if not taken properly. So, try to consume as less medicines as you can so that you can survive a little longer.

Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
