It's March and we all know what that means! It's March Madness, the most exciting time of the year for college basketball fans around the country.

1. Cinderella Stories


The team that noone knows about but so many fall in love with. It is the underdog team that comes out of nowhere and upsets the top ranked teams. The team that break hearts as well brackets.

2. Upsets


Everyone loves a good upset. Whether its your hometown team or a team that beats the team you don't like, upsets always happen. Upsets of the higher seeded teams by the lower seeded teams always stir up drama and add to the madness.

3. Bracketology

Will there be someone with a perfect bracket this year? The odds of that are like 1 in 128 billion. You can make as many brackets as you want, but let's be real.. the odds are not in your favor.

4. Win or Go Home


If you lose, it is over. No second chances. No best of series. Only get one shot. The pressure is on. #SurviveAndAdvance

5. Journey to the Tourney

32 teams get their invite from winning their conference and the other 32 have to earn their way in and wait for their invite on Selection Sunday.

6. Selection Sunday

Teams waiting to hear their fate. Some teams are waiting to hear if they made the cut for the Big Dance, and then others are waiting to hear what seed they are. Time to find out where you are playing.

7. Conference Tournaments

So many games going on and so many teams are involved. It helps build up the momentum for the Big Dance.

8. Buzzer Beaters

Last second shots that keep the season alive.

9. Constant Action

All month long there are games going on. Whether you're in class, at work or just going about your everyday life, there's lots of games going on. After Selection Sunday, there are the play in games and then The Big Dance starts.

10. Unlikely Heroes

Stephen Curry for Davidson in 2008 is a great example. It's the unknown names that become household names because of breakout performances.


11.One Shining Moment


The one team left standing at the end of the Madness. The ones cutting down the nets. All the hard work, blood, sweat and tears paid off. The National Champions.
