With news of the new "Prison Break" series soon to air on Fox either at the end of 2016 or at the beginning of 2017, and me being a huge fan of the show, I thought through the episodes of past seasons and how they sometimes relate exactly to what goes on in the everyday life of a college student.

1. When you realize college isn't just parties, and you begin to miss home.

We all end up having that one moment where we realize that we're far away from home, and we can't go talk to our parents right away if we need advice, so you begin to think about transferring, but then realize we're in the 21st century, and you can call home.

2. When you're in your freshman dorm, and your RA knocks at your door.

*Knock, knock, knock* Res Life! As a freshman, those were always the worst words to hear when you had friends over after a long week, only now most people realize that when you shut off your loud music, and everyone gets quiet, it's basically a dead giveaway.

3. When you forget to study for a test, and a friend asks for your notes.

We all know that one person who goes a little too far in order to pass a test.

4. When you get a 100 on a test you didn't study for.

We all end up having those random moments where we surprise ourselves with a grade, but you know you can't get used to it, because this isn't high school, and the chances of it happening again can be slim.

5. When you look at your grades during midterms.

When midterm and final grades are about to be released, you're sitting there just waiting for the deadline, hoping you aren't failing.

6. Talking about your grades.

When your parents ask you about you grades at midterms, and you try to get out the conversation.

7. When you talk to your parents about what happened that year.

Most of the time you're lying to your parents about going out and partying, but you forget your parents were college students as well.

8. Zoning out.

There's always that one kid in class who zones out multiple times, and you can't help but try to figure out what they're thinking about.

9. When you finish your last final as a senior.

For those of you who graduated this year, you can almost find this hard to believe that you're done with college, and on to the next stage of life.

10. Your professors' last words.

You can always expect to hear this from at least one teacher throughout your college career, but you know it's an unspoken truth behind every paper that you spend hours tearing your hair out to make sure its perfect.

11. Graduating.

So you've made it through college, excited to start your new career, but soon enough you realize that college is over, and you're out in a new, real world, and you're back at the bottom.
