Dear Donald Trump my pussy grabs back and it's for more than just my rights.

Mr. Trump there are many reasons to why I don’t think you should be the 45th President, but that’s not what I want to talk about, what I want to talk about is what has been bothering me lately.

My right as a human being is to have rights, and as a woman it really bothers me that nowhere in the constitution does says that legally I have the same rights as a man. It irritates me that women make 78 cents to every $1 a man makes for the same exact job. It upsets me that girls are taught to walk in groups instead of alone because we fear of being attacked. It horrifies me that we have so many hate crimes, whether it’s gay, transgender, religious. The thing is, this battle is something I really don’t think should be, I believe that there are so many issues in the world and this just should not be one of them. Clearly that the world isn’t perfect, but it shouldn’t be this hard for women to be just as equal as men, and there shouldn’t be so much hate and violence all the time.

Mr. Trump it bothers me that the things you’ve said, and done cause hate across all social platforms and norms. You make disgusting comments that my guy friends make when they’re drunk, and trust me I hold them accountable for what they say. It’s just you’re running for the President of the Untied States, and they’re 20-year-old college boys who laugh at the word fart. That, while in an interview with Megyn Kelly, whom asked you a question about calling women you don’t like “slobs” and “disgusting animals”, and instead of being serious, you replied “Only Rosie O’Donnell” and proceeded to laugh along with the crowd, when you knew it was more than just her. You thought that making fun of a person because of their weight was a good way to respond while running for our presidency.

I really do believe that you are a part of the war on women, I do think the way you talk about a lot of people is so wrong. You are showing that it's okay to disrespect another person. That even though you said the words “grab them by the pussy” in 2005, when you apologized, after you said you were “sorry”, you said, “but I really am a great person”. You never just apologize, you always follow it by an excuse or that even though it happened, you’ve done some other good things in life which makes up for it (which it doesn’t). I get that people change and we all say dumb things, but you just don’t ever stop and just say you are sorry, and honestly even my 2-year-old cousin knows he has to apologize when he does something wrong.

I want you and everyone who supports Trump, to know the reason why I don’t. I understand that he is now my President, but that doesn’t mean I have to accept the way he talks about other people. As a president I do believe that you should be more morally upstanding than the average man and woman, not less. You are here to serve as our President, meaning to protect our fellow citizens, not harass or make them feel less because of their flaws. I am going to hold you accountable for your actions. “When the powerful use their position to bully others, we all lose” - Meryl Streep.

Mr. Trump, you say you want to “Make America Great Again” so all I ask is that you do. I hope you succeed, and maybe prove the people who don’t support you now wrong. To my fellow Trump supporters, stop supporting him when he makes these poor comments about others by laughing with him, it’s wrong. The way I look at it, if I don’t want to be treated that way, if I don’t want my family, friends, and future children to be treated that way, then no one should be. Finally, just remember the that rise of equality for women will not mean the fall of men, and I really do believe in making America great again.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
