I think we can all agree that rainy summer days are an unwelcome occurrence. It's easy to get discouraged when pool days and outdoor adventures must be put on hold because the sun decided to hide. How are we supposed to make unforgettable summer memories when stepping foot outside would mean being soaked from the precipitation? The answer is that... there are still tons of ways to make memories and have fun with family or friends even if the weather is attempting to forbid it! Now there is of course the normal things to do such as watching movies, reading a good book, or playing games, but I'm here to suggest a few other ideas that you may not have thought of!
1. Find a recipe for something you've been craving and make it!
I love baking, but I don't get to do it as often as I would like. A rainy day inside is the perfect excuse to try that new cupcake recipe you found on Pinterest!
2. Reorganize your closet!
I don't know about you, but I love having a clean, color-coordinated, and organized closet. Normally I can't find the time needed to clean my entire closet, but a whole day spent inside allows for the task to get done!
3. Do some yoga!
Yoga is a great way to relax, destress, and stretch your muscles. There are yoga videos all over the Internet for beginners all the way to experts. So whether you're flexible or not there is bound to be a video for you! Trust me, you'll feel better after you're done!
4. Have a dance party!
Whether you're by yourself or with friends/family, crank up the tunes and dance away all of your boredom!
5. Craft something!
I'm always finding new DIYs to try and a rainy day is the perfect opportunity to try some of them! Pinterest is the perfect place to find ideas if you're inspired to make something!
