The mysterious and unavoidable feeling of love.

Love is a mysterious, unavoidable feeling that makes life worth living. The rush of warmth that fills your stomach and chest is overwhelming, but addictive. You long for that rush again and it comes every time your two orbs meet making your limbs fall numb. The whole world stands still and everything is forgotten except for that special someone.

"There's a calm surrender to the rush of day when the the heat of a rolling world can be turned away."

Each moment when your eyes are locked only last a second, but an infinite moments can fit into that time. Scared at first that the other might not experience the same indescribable emotion as you, you dart your eyes away. Becoming restless you want to speak, but the words are lost and your mouth hangs open with the wind bustling in.

"An enchanted moment, and it sees me through. It's enough for this restless warrior just to be with you."

The silence is deafening, but the sight of their face is a calming meadow. With a quick pounce, almost at once, both of you say, "Hi, can I buy you a coffee?" With a smile and a giggle, both of you know that the answer is yes.

"And can you feel the love tonight? It is where we are. It's enough for this wide eyed wanderer that we got this far and can you feel the love tonight? How it's laid to rest. It's enough to make kings and vagabonds believe the very best."

Years and many heartbreaks have brought you together. After abusive relationships, false hope, and fake love, the feeling is here to last. This person makes all the others seem like jokes and the feelings for anyone else was just a mirage.

"There's a time for everyone if they only learn. That the twisting kaleidoscope moves us all in turn."

You realize that this would not have been possible if you were never broken; your paths would have never crossed if the past had not played out how it did. The first time you let your guard down and your walls brake, you become close and the question enters your minds, "How did I get so lucky?"

"There's a rhyme and reason to the wild outdoors. When the heart of this star crossed voyager beats in time with yours."

When your heads lean close for the first time and your lips make unbreakable contact, the pieces of your beaten and broken hearts begin to mend. Fireworks explode and sparkle as your hearts dance in time together.

"And can you feel the love tonight? It is where we are. It's enough for this wide eyed wanderer that we got this far." And can you feel the love tonight? How it's laid to rest. It's enough to make kings and vagabond believe the very best."

Over time the walls that guarded the broken hearts fall and the love never fails. The future is a mystery, but as long as the you as lovers stand side-by-side, your steps will never falter, the sparks will never fade, and the way you look at each other will never seize.

"And can you feel the love tonight?"

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
