Dear Friends,
First, I would like to start out by saying that I cannot believe we are this old and that we have been friends for this long. They say time flies when you are having fun and that cannot be truer of the 10 years I have spent with all of you. For spending the last decade at my side I believe that all of you deserve a letter of my love and appreciation of our friendship.
In this day and age, good friends are hard to come by, nonetheless, friendships that last for as long as ours. You all have been my very best friends since grade school and high school and now continuing through college. You have stood by me through thick and thin and have been apart of every major milestone for the last 10 years. As I look back on the previous years, I realized that my most treasured memories involve all of you. Being friends for 10 plus years is not an easy feat. We have had our ups and downs and of course, our fair share of over dramatic teenage drama. The friendships you all have given me have been a steady constant in my life and I cannot be more grateful.
There are so many things I need to thank all of you for. Thank you for making me laugh until I am out of breath, cry, or pee my pants. Thank you for listening to me complain at a Mexican restaurant for three hours. Thank you for only being one phone call away when I need you. Thank you for accompanying me to White Castle at 4 a.m. Thank you for being the best squad anyone could ever ask for. Thank you for knowing me better than I know myself. Thank you for always being my friends to come back too no matter how far I go. Thank you for being my shoulder to cry on and my biggest cheerleaders. Thank for supporting me in everything I do, even if you didn’t agree with it. Thank you for never saying, “I told you so.”
Thank you for forcing me to go out and have a good time. Thank you for sending funny screenshots and gifs in our group message. Thank you for embarrassing me time after time; it keeps my humble. Thank you for always dancing with me, even when you know I am a terrible dancer. Thank you for the road trips, spring breaks, and all the other crazy adventures. Thank you for sticking by me through the best and worst moments of my life and helping me in any way you can. Thank you for being just as weird as me.
These 500 words don't even begin to scratch the surface of my gratitude and love for all of you. You all are my best friends, sisters and soul mates and I cannot imagine my life without you. I am so lucky to have found a group of friends as amazing as you all are. You constantly inspire me and you have all contributed to making me the person I am today. Here’s to 10 years of laughs, memories and unwavering friendship; and to the next 50.
Love you long time.
