Poetry On The Odyssey: You Took My Power

Thank you for taking this from me

Because of you I feel lost.

It's simple and easy.

You took the only power I had left from my hands.

My hands bled as you took my power.

I fell down and you kicked me.

You made me know I was wrong.

Yet how could I be wrong when all I did was use my power for good?

How did I become the villain when I started as a hero?

I was the hero so I know the truth.

You took my words you took my joy.

You told me to figure it out.

How am I supposed to solve the mess you made?

I had the power.

I was the hero.

But, now I'm here crying as you kick me.

Now, this isn't a problem for everyone but for some people who suffer from mental illness, this is a reality.
