There are hundreds upon hundreds of inspirational figures in the world today that have used the tools available to them to communicate their message to the rest of the world. From athletes to entrepreneurs, I have become a student of several of these people, looking to them for wisdom and advice for the management and development of my own life. Here are a few of my favorite inspirational figures that I have subscribed to and recommend to all those seeking a positive change in life.

Tai Lopez

Remember the Hispanic guy from the YouTube ads lasting several minutes long that you may or may have likely watched more than five seconds of before skipping? That is Tai Lopez, a man with one of the greatest rags to riches stories I have ever come across. Tai was once sleeping on someone’s couch with very little money in his bank account. Tai came in contact with a series of mentors, online learning experiences and training programs and was able to eventually create his first business. The rest is history, as Tai has created business initiative after business initiative. He has completely turned his situation around, living a life of style and luxury after living on the couch of a total stranger. However, this is not the most compelling thing about Lopez; he is a huge advocator of larger possibilities and education, namely through reading. Tai is extremely active on social media, providing knowledge, opportunity, and hope to all who tune in.

Grant Cardone

Grant Cardone is my favorite inspirational figure to listen to. I came across him accidentally, seeing a seminar of his in the recommended section on YouTube. Grant is extremely forward and honest about what he believes and why he believes it. Uncle G has gone from living a life of dissatisfaction, addiction and poorness to being a multimillionaire and entrepreneur, with 19 New York Times best sellers and a ton of content available for those looking to change their lives. Grant Cardone is the creator of Cardone University, a top sales and marketing training program that has helped thousands of people realize their potential and become more competent and capable salesmen and financial strategists. With live, weekly programs like The Cardone Zone (viewable on YouTube every Friday at noon), Grant Cardone has made himself and his guidance available for everyone to learn from in order to create better lives for themselves, their families, and anyone else.

Mark Cuban

This Shark Tank investor, NBA team owner, and marketing genius is the originator of live stream online media. From a young age, Mark Cuban has been extremely dedicated to sales and marketing. Cuban is known for his loud personality, loads of money and brutal honesty, the characteristic many like myself appreciate the most; you know exactly what you are getting with Cuban without a doubt. His passion for honesty and authenticity make this billionaire (unlike many others) easy to believe and trust for information that can actually help you get to where you are trying to go in life and in your personal endeavors.

Kai Greene

“The Predator” Kai Greene is the most beloved bodybuilder in the history of the sport outside of Hollywood action icon and former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Kai has gone from being an abandoned kid from Brooklyn living in a variety of foster homes and institutions to an iconic champion, leader and inspirational figure in the sport of bodybuilding. Kai is extremely philosophical in his thinking and is a huge advocator of larger possibilities and hard work even in the most dire of circumstances. Many people who have been plagued throughout life, dealing with a wide array of situations often gravitate towards Greene, as he is a symbol of hope for even the most weary of souls. Having been a champion on the highest level of his profession, the voice of ESPN coverage of the NFL and MLB World Series, featured actor in an up and coming foreign film and an entrepreneur, Kai is living proof that thoughts do become things with the necessary actions behind them.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
