Liverpool Strike Defiant Note Under New Manager Jurgen Klopp

On Saturday, Liverpool responded in the most determined fashion to Manchester City's brutal takeover of the Premier League. Although they may have lost the table lead they had enjoyed for months, Klopp is confident this will be their season.

On March 5, if they can win at home against Manchester United and then secure victory midweek at Man City, they have an actual shot at overtaking leaders Manchester City and finishing in the top four.

1. The Reds have a new lease of life

Liverpool have made a slow start to the season and are currently 14 points behind leaders Arsenal. Yet despite their poor form, Liverpool have managed to maintain their determined attitude under new manager Jurgen Klopp.

He has achieved great success through the recruitment of experienced players who know how to work under him. For instance, Fabinho joined the club in the summer of 2018 but only made his first start in October.

Robertson, who was an integral part of Klopp's side last season, had time to adjust and develop under the German coach. Tsimikas has also had ample opportunity to learn his system before starting every Premier League match this season.

Liverpool are on a winning streak and Klopp has the team to do it. A win against Tottenham tonight will give Klopp confidence and an encouraging sense of direction, setting him on the path towards Champions League qualification.

2. They’re not perfect but together they’re rejuvenated

Jurgen Klopp's team may not be perfect, but they have been reinvigorated. His front three of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane are widely regarded as the best in Europe.

They've scored 56 league goals this season and no team can stop them. That is why their coach is hopeful for a winning streak and there are rumours he may bring in another attacker to further bolster their attack.

Liverpool have made a slow start to the season, yet they remain in pole position for the title with 15 games left to play. Currently seventh and just seven points behind fourth-place Tottenham with two games in hand, Liverpool remain in contention.

They still lack a key player in central midfield but have already added Darwin Nunez this summer. The 22-year-old is reported to be on his way to Anfield and could be the club's next big signing.

3. They’re a force to be reckoned with

Jurgen Klopp has sent an upbeat message to Liverpool fans ahead of their UEFA Champions League last-16 clash against Manchester City. He believes the Reds will return to the top of the table and be eager for another successful run in next season's Champions League competition.

He has been the German manager of Liverpool FC for four years now, overseeing their growth as a team and seeing them reach new heights. After losing in the final of the Champions League to Kyiv in 2011, Liverpool came back and won it again two seasons later in Madrid; now they look to add another trophy to their collection.

The Reds remain a force to be reckoned with and with an expected large crowd at Anfield today, there can be no doubting their determination and spirit. Trent Alexander-Arnold has highlighted how they have overcome setbacks to win their last few matches as evidence of progress as a unit.

4. They’re ruthless

Klopp's approach has won over doubters and now the Reds are considered one of the greatest teams worldwide. His strategy relies on the idea that if viewers enjoy watching a game, they'll come back for more viewings.

The Reds haven't had the best start to this season, but they've managed to stay in the top four and reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Unfortunately, that confidence has taken a hit and now they need to regroup.

With the summer break quickly approaching, Liverpool must find their winning form and focus on finishing strong for the remainder of the season. They have an opportunity to do just that when they travel to Ibrox on Tuesday night.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
