Dear little sis,

First off, you must know how incredible and wonderful you are. The amazing qualities you possess that you bring to life through your genuine love for other's is just one of the many things that make you, uniquely you.

Since you do SO much for me, I figured it would be appropriate to first say I love you sis and secondly say thank you for everything you do. Thank you for not just what you choose to do for me, but also for what you do for everyone else.

For that BIG hug every single time I see you again, thank you.

For the long walks & talks to the swing set on Penniman Avenue., thank you.

For you cheering me on and encouragement, thank you.

For your understanding and forgiveness, thank you.

In a world where a lot of what we see around us in society is anger, violence, and use. You have shown tremendous love, charity, and forgiveness. This is something everyone, including myself, could use more of nowadays. In many ways little sis, you are a role model for me. You are my hero.

You are my hero because you stand up for the truth and what's right.

You are my hero because you choose to love and not use.

You are my hero because you never give up.

So when you're walking those hallways of high school or driving the lanes of the street and you feel like it's all too much, just remember how strong you are. You have the strength to you to get through anything! And as your older brother, I will always be here for you.
