You're back in classes, but you probably don't want to think too hard after Presidents Day, right? So here're 20 pictures of cute animals to help you enjoy your time off. And if you are in school, these 20 pictures should help brighten a boring day of classes. And they should give everyone a welcome break from all the posts about Russia and fake news.

1. Doggo:

Might as well start with everyone's favorite: Dogs!

2. The dog of the sea?

Here's a picture of a shark. My friend calls them "dogs of the sea." I'm not sure I agree, but this one's got kind of a goofy grin going on.

3. Everyone's second favorite:

This one's for all the cat people out there!

4. Here's a hedgehog:


Hedgehogs might just be the best animals out there. Did you know they bounce?

5. And an armadillo:

Armadillos are weird, but that doesn't mean they're not cute.

6. A donkey:

Another animal you would never expect to be cute. But they have their moments.

7. And its more majestic cousin:

*Horses are too beautiful for a caption*

8. A ferret:

Ferrets are weird, but some people keep them as pets so I guess that means they're cute? Fun fact: They need to mate when they're in heat, or they could die.

9. And its wild cousin:

This is a stoat. Stoats are great.

10. Bonobos:

OK, bonobos, our closest cousins in the animal world, are not cute. But the babies sure are!

11. Have another dog:

This one is you! Chilling out on your long weekend!

12. And another cat:

Because we can all use more pictures of our favorite animals.

13. It rhymes with cat...

I'm not the only one who thinks bats are cute, right?

14. This bird:

This is probably another weird one: A blue-footed booby. I mostly just like them because they have a funny name and I have the sense of humor of an 11-year-old. I'm not ashamed.

15. Here's one we all can agree on:

They're almost as beautiful as horses.

16. Pupper

I think you know what's coming next...

17. Yet another cat:

OK, this is the last one, I promise.

18. A foxy fox:

My friend loves foxes, so this one's for her.

19. A fluffy bunny:

They're nuisances. But cute nuisances.

20. And finally...

I'll end with a picture of otters. Yes, they are holding hands. So they don't float away from each other while they sleep. Otters are actually goals
