As many in this country are aware, there is a presidential election coming up, and of course that means making the important decision of choosing the next leader of the free world. It has finally come down to figuring out which two we can choose between, and unlike in previous elections, this one seems to be the most controversial in recent memory. With the Republican National Convention going on right now, an event most of us have been fearing and dreading since last June when Donald Trump announced his plans to run for office, could there be anything much worse than President Trump? Possibly not. Here is a list of things that are better than having Donald Trump become the next president of the United States of America (in no particular order):

1. "Cannot connect to the internet."

2. Traffic jams.

3. Getting a parking ticket.

4. Long lines at the DMV or Disney World or whatever you want to call it.

5. Really hot weather.

6. Really cold weather.

7. Pokemon Go crashing.

8. Low battery.

9. Blackouts.

10. Research papers.

11. Group projects.

12. Not keeping up with the Kardashians.

13. No free refills.

14. The rent being too damn high.

15. The first day of school.

16. The last day of school.

17. School in general.

18. Math (OK, that's enough with school).

19. Terrible-tasting coffee.

20. Nothing being on sale (not even 5 percent off).

21. Jury duty.

22. Disappointment.

23. Being broke.

24. Taxes and bills.

25. Being a proud alumnus of Trump University.

26. Melania Trump's speech at the 2016 Republican National Convention.

27. Ronald Scrump.

28. Kanye West.

29. Kanye West's music.

30. Kanye West's family.

31. Getting stung by a jellyfish.

32. Needles.

33. FOMO.

34. Blisters.

And finally...

35. Donald Trump NOT being president.

Yup, what possibly could be worse than Donald Trump being president? I don't know. I don't think anyone will ever know. A final note is that this article has nothing to do with picking sides, although Picking Sides is a good idea for a 36th thing.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
