Lin-Manuel Miranda is fresh off a long run in his hit Broadway show "Hamilton" which he produced the book, music, and lyrics for. And as if that wasn’t enough, he starred in it, too! It tells the story of our ten-dollar founding father Alexander Hamilton which was inspired when Lin picked up Ron Chernow’s 2004 biography before his vacation as “light vacation reading.”

Anyway, I’m not here to talk about Hamilton or how I haven’t seen it in person (even though yes, it really is that good, who would ever think to have Thomas Jefferson rap like that?!). But it’s all OK because we have the gift of the cast recording that I can cry to for the next ten years until the hype finally dies down and I can see it.

I’m just here to not throw away my shot in talking about how much of a gift Lin Manuel Miranda is to this earth. Not just because he brought us In The Heights or because he brought us Hamilton but because he’s just… he’s a precious cinnamon roll too good for this world and here are 5 reasons why.

1. He fangirls like the rest of us.

Most notable are his public moments when he would bring out Broadway’s best and brightest to their weekly before show lottery that he coined, “Ham4Ham.” Each time, he would bring someone out onto the steps of the Richard Rodgers. Whether it be Kelli O’Hara or Patti LuPone, he would remain attentive and engaged like they’re the best thing he’s ever seen. He's also just so eternally grateful to those who perform with/around him.

2. His good morning/goodnight tweets.

Props to this adorable man for being the first one to greet us in the morning with serious motivation for the day and for being the last one to talk to us at night, and even giving us motivation to sleep. I don’t know how he does it, but somehow he manages to capture our hearts 25/8.

3. He’s a great guy and he knows it.

We all know that Vanessa Miranda-Nadal is the luckiest woman on the planet and at most times, some of us wish we could be her, but instead, here we are worshiping the ground that the both of them walk on. He truly is the most amazing man, he knows how to make us all laugh and how to make us all cry at the drop of the dime. He’s truly making the difference in all of our lives and he probably thinks that’s crazy, but here we are, all around the world, worshiping him.

4. He’s a nerd.

But aren’t we all a nerd for something in this life? Everyone has that one thing that they’re completely encased with. For Lin, I’ve noticed that it’s mostly for things like Harry Potter, but aren’t we all? I like that he’s just so proud of himself for it, like he embraces the fact that he’s the world’s greatest.

5. He started out just like the rest of us.

He hasn’t always been the biggest and best thing Broadway's ever seen. It took him a while to get here. His throwbacks mean everything because back in 2012 he was just a dreamer too, and now here he is in 2016 living the best life he possibly can. They give us a reason to not give up on our dreams a reason to hang on and realize that things won’t always be the way that they are right now.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
