There are many inspirational people in the world– some who still serve as inspiration even after they've passed. We all have our own inspirations that compel us to live or act a certain way. My particular person is Audrey Hepburn. A symbol of style and grace, she continues to make people cry and laugh with her classic films. Her movies have several lines which serve as small life lessons for everyone.

1. "The moon's reaching for me."

There will always be someone questioning your dreams or thinking that you'll never achieve them, but those people don't matter. The person who decides your fate is you, and you should never hold yourself back. Dream as big as your mind will let you and then try to go further. When you know what you want go for it because you will succeed if you have the passion and the drive.

2. "I'm not gonna let anyone put me in a cage."

As many of you know the "cool thing" to do is reject what society says; to be the total opposite of what it says you should be. Well, don't let anyone tell you who you should be. Don't let anyone limit or restrict you from being the person you want to be. We're all meant to fly one way or another.

3. "We could spend the whole day doing things we've never done before."

Be spontaneous. You don't have to be the person who doesn't have a plan for life, but don't plan everyday of your life. Wake up and decide at a moments notice to go on a hike, drive out of the way for ice cream or visit someone. Living with a routine or a schedule everyday can make you feel trapped in a rut. Mix it up every now and then, make sure to experience new things along the way.

4. "What the world needs is a return to sweetness and decency."

While you focus on your life and all your dreams, don't forget to think of others. You can make someones day by smiling at them or giving the a compliment. Happiness is contagious and not that hard to spread. Just remember to be grateful and think of what others face in their lives before you make judgements.

5. "Wake up." "No, thank you."

Sleep is important and if you don't have any obligations or somewhere you absolutely have to be then sleep as long as you like. We're constantly in a rush to do so much, too fast and it wrecks our bodies. Always make sure to get that beauty sleep in.

6. "There's such a lot of world to see."

Explore every corner of the the world you can. Never go to the same place for vacation twice. Don't make excuses; just go. There's so much to experience and enjoy, you could have so many adventure stories to tell.

7. "Good Night."

Always say good night to someone. It's simple but you'll always feel as though there's someone there for you when you wake up.

I could spend the entire day looking though quotes from her. She still continues to inspire and will continue for generations. Whenever you feel down or need inspiration, watch one of her movies. They never get old.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
