Life As A Taurus

The good and bad traits that come with being a Taurus.

Life As A Taurus

Being a true believer in the horoscope zodiac sign traits and vibes, I am a proud member of the Taurus family.

As a female Taurus my sign contains some very true traits that are either very helpful to myself or others, and some can be just the opposite. Here's a review of some traits that I have as a Taurus lady and why they are good or bad, what to be mindful of, and what you can just stay away from.

This may apply to all you Taurus ladies and gents out there, so enjoy!

Dependable:

We love helping people out in a jam. Even if we aren't a real big part of your life and you barely see us, if you ever needed anything we are always willing to help, especially if you are family.

We won't leave you hanging, even if it looks rocky you can always count on us to be there for you even if it's for a little while.

Stubborn:

Big, big trait. No matter what you want or you demand, I myself as many other Taurus are stubborn individuals in different formats. For me, if you want me to do something that I see as not needed or you ask me in a rude manner, I will do the exact opposite just because I will not give into demands so easily (or at least come off too that way, remember we are dependable people). This trait contradicts the dependable trait in a weird way, however, the stubbornness is mainly against people we are not a fan of or we don't like how you ask us to do something.

It's more like, "it's my way or the highway," but I see myself as, "If you're nice to me, I may consider it," or "Nope, sorry bye." Me doing the opposite of what you want is another way of saying "Nope sorry, can't tell me what to do"

Down to Earth:

One of the biggest things I find about many Taurus is that we as a whole are easily to approach. I'm one that if you want to talk about anything I am always open to a conversation, even if the subject may not be in my favor.

However we also tell it how it is, and if we don't like something it'll be known, but we do not judge you for it.

We also have open minds, which means the whole "impossible" phrase never gets by us. "Anything is possible."

Persistent:

We as a sign won't stop. If we want to do something better, accomplish a goal, or get the job done we literally will stop at nothing until that is done. For example, if we want to run a mile, we will continue to train until we accomplish that mile or even more.

If we want to get a good grade, we will study hard and do well. The pressure that pushes us to achieve is when others rely on us to complete the goals as well.

This trait is one of our biggest aspects because we most likely complete our goals merely because we think someone is counting on us, when it is really in our heads (this can also be a not so good thing).

Generous:

Whether it's paying for a coffee, giving you a shirt to borrow, whatever, we are not the type of human beings that won't help out a friend in need. Even if it's an out of our way kind of situation we are always eager to make sure that our friends and family are comfortable and have at least something to get them by (even if it's a coffee).

Materialistic:

We value certain things very very much. Money is a big problem, which also coordinates with why we are dependable workers. We value making money as a way to be stable and afford the "nice things."

Now most people of any sign do value money and material objects, but through experience I find that making money for me is a priority because I have that constant "Fear" I won't have enough to by nice things or any things at all. This is why some Taurus can get stingy when it comes to getting in the way of them making money, almost gets ugly.

Overall, a Taurus is one of those zodiac signs that generally has a softy spot for everyone. We care too much, and too little but that's what makes us lovable. We are brutally honest but we care about your feelings as well. We make good lovers, good wives.

P.S. Stay away from male Leo's

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
