29. Don't fall in love with the wrong guy (I know it is already on the list, but I have made this mistake a lot).

I am a planner; I need to make a list of goals each year. I cannot live without a line to follow. The truth is every "New Years Eve" we plan for ourselves many resolutions and every year we fail most of them. I have to say that this year, 2018, showed me that you cannot accomplish more than five (Yes, this year was not easy for me).

Even still, after my 2018-bad-experience, I wrote my list of resolutions for 2019. But sincerely, I know I won't make them next year, and I sure it is not too different for you.

1. Start going to the gym, and keep going the whole year.

2. Don’t fall in love with the wrong guy.

3. Start and keep the diet.

4. Read all the books of "A Song of Ice and Fire" before the season finale of "Game of Thrones."

12. Find the perfect job.

13. Spend more time with my friends.

14. Don’t waste time on Social Media.

26. Stop buying useless things (it includes from Sale TV, Dolar Tree, and all “Black Friday” and Cyber Monday” deals).

27. Read a full newspaper every day.

28. Watch a political opposite TV News program each day (for example, I am democratic; then I will watch Fox News).

29. Don’t fall in love with the wrong guy (I know it is already on the list, but I have made this mistake a lot).

30. Have a new productive hobby (being an expert in "Game of Thrones" does not help our life in any way).

31. Watch all the nominated movies before the "Oscars."

32.  Watch more classic movies.

33. Read more about history of the world (instead of reading about Westeros).

37. Schedule voluntary hours to help more people.

38. Donate part of my money to a good cause.

39. Increase my saving account.

40. Watch more documentaries even though Discovery Channel and History Channel only have shows about sharks and dangerous roads.

41. Learn new recipes and cook them (yes, healthy recipes).

42. Be happier in 2019 (I can make it because 2018 was a disaster for me).

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
