Lately I've been desiring to change a lot of things about myself; things that I do not care for, and somethings that I believe that needed improvement. The best way to change something is to change your perspective and seek advice. With changing my perspective my out look on things began to change, but after shifting into a new mindset I learned that I needed advice and guidance. So now the question is where can I find this advice? Who should I trust to pour this advice into me? Well I had to wing it most of the way, I had to find out what worked best for me and what did not. I had too fail a couple of times, and learn the hard way. But I made it, I set the goal to changes things to better myself and that's exactly what happened. With doing this I realized there isn't a guide to life, you just roll with the punches. So why not create a small guide and share our story? And since I have a great platform to share letters too, why not just do it? So enjoy the 'Letter Too' series.

Dear Self,

Things will not always be easy, the road is long and hard. You''ll feel alone most of the time, like no one is ever really there to help you. You'll feel voiceless at times, and often times you'll ask yourself why do I even bother? Self, sometimes you will want to quit, you'll have the desire to walk away....You'll definetly feel worthless and that you'll never achieve your dreams..Self you will fail somethings, you won't always be the best. Self you may fall in love with the wrong person and lose sight of your hearts desires. And sometimes self you'll feel stuck and invisible. But self, just know while you're holding your head down to pray, and to seek the love that God has for you. Please know that your worth a million and one smiles, and that ever frown thats ever came upon your face is not even worth. Know that what God has in store for you is something that no man can give to you. Please self, please know that you are loved and admired and someone out there is depending on you to make it so they can say "Because of you I can."

In closing always remember to live your truth, get upset, cry, smile, laugh, just be you and always put your best foot forward. I know you can do it self, I'm writing you this letter so you know you can do it!

Love,

Self...

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
