I don't know why you do the things you do or why you feel like you're out of options at times. I don't know why you look for happiness in places where they're nowhere to be found. I don't know why you don't ask for help or why you disregard the advice of others. I don't know why you would question, even for a minute, whether or not I would be there for you through everything.
I am still your friend. Although the choices you make sometimes upset, I am still your friend. These are your choices. Everyone is entitled to make their own choices. It's these choices that make us who we are in the end. Please know that this is not your end. I still see so much potential in you. I still see so much life in you. A chance to change and make the right decisions is still possible for you. This is your beginning, if you let it be.
I know that you are still the person I have known and loved. I've watched you grow and evolve, just as I have. I understand that there's a lot that stems from people changing. You are going through some changes. Necessary changes. Who am I to judge you when we're both only human? I have no right. I have no right to do anything aside from loving you regardless. So that's what I'm going to do. Love you regardless. You entered my life for the good and I refuse to stop seeing the good in you.
I may not support your decisions, but I support you. I'll get behind any dreams that you have now just as I always have. I'll get behind any dreams you have in the future. I believe that your future is still bright. I'll be your light until you find your own light. I believe in you. I know that this is a rough time in your life and I intend to see you through it. You may feel as though you're under quite a bit of judgement and this is nothing that I plan on joining in on. I could never judge you. I love you.
Trust in me. Vent to me. I'm here for you. I'm not going anywhere. Even when you don't feel like speaking, I'm here for you. I've always been here for you.That's what friends are for. As I look back at all the times that you were there for me, my heart smiles. We've both learned so much from going through hard times in the past and even find a way to laugh at them. We've made so many great memories and I intend to make so many more with you.
I'll believe in you when you don't believe in yourself. I won't give up on you so don't give up on yourself.
