We live in sports bras, we shop for hours at Victoria’s Secret, and we definitely try using our boobs to get us out of speeding tickets.
We question everyone who wants what we have, yet sometimes we feel truly blessed.
Our love/hate relationship with our boobs changes on the daily. We love them when we look good in a bathing suit, but we hate them when we want to go braless in public and can’t.
We love getting comments from people like “Oh I wish I had your boobs” or “Oh you’re so tiny for having such big boobs!” but we hate getting cat-calls on the streets and especially hate when family members comment on them.
We tell our family members to be quiet when they bring up our boobs at the dinner table (I mean come on guys, not a very appropriate topic at the table.)
We subconsciously cover our chests when someone notices the two lumps that rest upon them.
We make pacts with our girlfriends stating that we will give them some of our boobs and that we will hold hands through the surgery.
Despite the extra money, time and effort spent into making sure our boobs aren’t pouring out of our shirts, we have all at some point, appreciated what God has given us.
I know in my case, I have days where I wish I could just lift these two boulders off my chest forever, but in the end, I would probably regret it more than anything.
Appreciating our bodies the way they are is the key to getting used to our appearance. So, my ladies with the Siamese twins on your chest, just embrace your natural beauty and show the world what mama gave ya (of course, with being modest and all).
P.S.
If your breasts are causing you back pains or any other ailments, you could always consider a reduction or a lift. I am not condoning keeping something that could cause any health problems.
