Dear Braves Fans,
The 2015 season has been a frustrating one so far.
This year’s team has been frustrating to watch, but not nearly as frustrating as the team last year. Nothing was more frustrating than to watch than seeing strikeout after strikeout last year. This team has not done well offensively but they at least put the ball in play and play hard every day. That cannot be said about last year’s team. And Braves fans need to understand what a rebuild process is. Frank Wren decimated the farm system for the Braves and John Hart had to make all of those trades to help rebuild the system. Last year the Braves farm system was rated one of the worst in baseball, but now they are rated one of the best in baseball. The Houston Astros were in a similar situation a few years ago with their team and now they are of the best teams in baseball. A rebuild takes time and it is not an overnight process. We need to be patient and look forward to the years to come.
Now if you want to quit being a Braves fan after what has happened this year, then you can go ahead and do that, but please do not come back and support this team when they are good in a couple years. The true Braves fans see what John Hart is doing and know it is what is needed to help this team win a future World Series. Change is tough to get used to, but I do truly believe that John Hart has made this team better and over the next few years the Braves will be contenders again for a World Series.
Sincerely,
A Loyal Braves Fan
