Dear Boyfriend,

I just wanted to thank you for all of the wonderful things in our relationship and all of the beautiful things that I have come to realize about us.

Thank you for being my rock, my best friend and the love of my life. Though there is distance between us, our love only grows stronger. Despite the odds that were against us, going to different colleges has brought us closer.

Thank you for everything you do and for continuing to love me no matter what. I am blessed to have someone who loves me like you do. I know that since we made it through the distance, we can make it through anything. I guess distance really does make the heart grow fonder.

I can honestly say that you are the most amazing guy to have ever stepped into my life, and you have helped shape me into the person that I am today. I remember you were my first real crush and became my true love. You are such a huge part of my life and when I found out that you were going four hours away for college, it broke my heart. I was so afraid of losing you and only focusing on the negative things about you going away that I couldn't see the positives about it.

Since you have been away, I realized that we have built a strong bond of trust. This trust makes us stronger because we know that we would never do anything to hurt the other person. Even though we are away physically, our new and stronger form of trust brings us closer together emotionally.

Being away has definitely strengthened us as a couple.. We now have many inside jokes together that make us laugh daily, and we also always have something new to talk about. Just checking up on each other and asking about how each other's day went always puts a smile on my face. It made me learn to appreciate the little things that make our relationship so great.

I have now learned to appreciate every phone call and Facetime more than I ever have. Being able to see your face and hear your voice really puts me at ease. Seeing your smile and hearing your laugh makes me appreciate you so much more. Though it took us time to adjust, our long distance relationship helped us become masters at communication.

My goal is to be your biggest supporter and biggest fan. I will always be here to cheer you on in any way that I possibly can. Though I may not always be able to be by your side, just know that I am always supporting you. I always think of the great things that you are going to accomplish and I am so proud of the amazing man that you have become since you have been away.

I always miss you, but there are the days when I miss you even more. The days seem long and hard, and it is difficult to think about anything but you.

But then I think about how close you are to coming home. I can't wait to do the things that we are so used to doing together, like our trips to amusement and water parks, our late night Dunkin Donuts visits and watching puppy videos on Facebook. Just thinking of being in your presence once again fills me with so much joy and love.

I now realize that our relationship has grown and become stronger than it was before. We now appreciate every moment together and we have so many milestones to look forward to in our relationship. Being apart has made me realize that there is no one else in the world that I want to be with and how thankful I am to have someone as amazing as you in my life.

I can't wait until the next time that we see each other. Though it hasn't always been an easy path, we make it work because we know that our love is worth the distance between us.

I love you to the moon and back.

Love,

Your girlfriend

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
