Hey Sis,
Surprise, surprise. You and all of your awesomeness are the topic of my article for this week, and I couldn't be more thrilled. Here are some things I want you to know; I may not tell you as often as I should, but I hope you know how much I truly love you. Plus, I mean you're the peanut butter to my jelly and I couldn't do life without you.
You are my big sister. You tell me like it is. I can say things to you I can't say to other people. You get me, even when I may not get myself. You remind me that my problems are relevant, no matter how small they may be. You listen to me babble. You encourage me. You give me a 24-hour time frame to have my breakdown, but then remind me when it's time to pull it together. At the end of the day, you love me through it all.You may be driving the struggle bus, but no worries because you will always have one passenger riding along with you...that passenger being me.
It's okay that you are easily distracted. Most of the time, I can follow you.
We can take some really bomb selfies, just saying.
Thank you for passing down your anxiety. It's great, lovely, wonderful, and I love it so much. NOT. It's cool though, I still love you and all.
Our inside jokes get me every time. I'm pretty sure people of the normal world would look at us like we were insane if we said those things in real life situations. P.S. Just because your APGAR score was higher than mine does not make you the superior sister; I think I turned out alright.
Not only are you one of my greatest blessings, but you also gave me two more. Your kids are literally the keys to my heart, so yes I will continue to spoil them until I am dead and gone. I will always be in their corner, and obviously do my best to be their crazy, cool aunt.
You and I may be opposites in certain ways, but one thing I know is that we both are extremely stubborn and will often argue with a sign post...or at least I will.
Thank you for laughing at my jokes, even if they aren't the least bit funny. I really appreciate it.
We may not always see eye-to-eye, but what sisters do at all times? I know sometimes I may drive you insane, but it's only because I love you more than Granny's chocolate cake. And that's a lot.
So when you're down and really missing your awesome little sister, I hope you read this and turn that frown upside down.
We may be miles apart, but I hope you always remember that my love reaches you wherever I may be.
All my love,
Your Not-So-Little Sister
