You give me the hardest time sometimes, but I know it's because you care. A few years ago I probably would have thought it crazy that anyone could have such an impact in my life. Funnily enough, then you came along. You can always appreciate your friends for having your back when you're down. It takes a special kind of person to help you see the bright side of things and keep pushing you. Those are the friends you want to keep in your life forever. That's the kind of friend you are.
Even when I question myself entirely, you've always had my back. You have pushed me in almost everything I've loved and helped me become the person I am today, I can only hope I was ever that great to you. Even though you'll probably never admit it, you're going to take on the world someday, heck I won't be surprised if you end up ruling it.
You're one of my biggest inspirations, you really got me to put myself out there, especially with poetry, and I still find it funny that one of my best poems I felt I've ever written was the one I wrote about you. So you'll probably know it word for word t this point, but it really is how I see you. You're a shining star and I can't wait to see your debut.

To describe her is like reaching for the most thoughtful
Heart-wrenching words
And still only being able to scratch the surface
Like treading on ice knowing one false step and you fall deeply within
Except...
Maybe falling in isn't so bad...
From the shiny white gates seen in her teeth
She entraps you with song and many emotions
And like a siren sings of symphonies
That while soothing gives you meaning
Her laugh is like the rampant waves
Along the calming calls of night
And the glare of doing her wrong
Will bring the tidal waves of fright
Because her eye is the eye of a hurricane
One glance and you think you're safe
But wise know if ur caught in the middle that storm has a double take.
But if you can make her smile
What you'll experience is gold
Because her hair is a silky yellow
Only kings and queens uphold
The humble playful princess
Who has gone through so much distress
She has conquered more than all
So why put her to the test
She is gracious
She is caring
She is strong hearted
She is bearing
But don't think a little sass
Is something she isn't wearing
To find another as miraculous
It's impossible you see
