A million I love you's and thank you's will never justify how much you mean to me. Honestly, I never thought I would love you this much when I first met you my sophomore year in high school. I thought you were only going to be a friend. Oh boy, was I wrong. It wasn't until my late junior and early senior year did I realize what an amazing gentleman you were. We dated for what seemed to be forever. I'm sorry I made you wait one year until we officially became girlfriend and boyfriend, but it was worth it. During the year of dating, you never gave up on me and I knew you were reaching your limit. I'm sure you thought, "This girl only wants to date me." I cannot thank you enough for staying with me. If you gave up on me, I don't know where I'll be right now.
Three years later, you're my best friend and the love of my life. I can be a pain in the butt and you don't complain. You might make faces at me but I cannot think of a single moment where you have been upset with me. Thank you for making time in your day from picking me from San Marcos and taking me home. I know the drive can be a gas guzzler. I hope you know that I wouldn't want to hold anyone else's hand for an hour drive other than you. Thank you for letting me win our arguments. I can tell when you get frustrated with me and give up because I'm too hard-headed to take your side. Thank you for feeding me. I never know what I want to eat, but I somehow still get fed by you. Not only do I thank you for feeding me but thank you for always cooking and helping me in the kitchen. You are beyond supportive of me and everything I want to accomplish in life. When I'm indecisive about something, I can always talk to you about whatever it is that is on my mind. You've been with me through the crazy marching seasons, transitioning to college, and my grandfather's passing. I cannot thank you enough for everything you do for me. I love when we are in the truck and you reach across the console to grab my hand. In those moments, I cannot be more happy to call you my boyfriend.
Last but not least, thank you for choosing me. Thank you for sticking with me for a year before officially being together. Out of all the fishes in the sea, you chose me. I cannot thank you enough for blessing me with your existence.
